My
Testimony

Hi everyone,
my name is Daniel Siau. I'm a computer tech & web
designer in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
On June 29th
2004 I was a happy, healthy, and strong as an Ox man.
I just got back into Tulsa from a two week vacation
in which I visited my daughters in Arkansas. Everything
was great in my life on this June 29th day but my life
was fixing to take a horrible sudden turn for the worse.
At 5:45 A.M.
The next morning (June 30th 2004) I was taking a shower
in preparation to go to work when all of a sudden, (in
a blink of an eye) I found myself on the bathtub floor,
head hitting the wall hard, and my body all bent. I
hurried and turned off the shower water fore I thought
I might lose consciousness and drown.
I went on
to work that morning and for the next few days my head
and right shoulder hurt immensely, but I thought I'd
be all right without having to go to the doctor.
On July 3rd
2004 I was drinking coffee in a Cafe looking out the
window watching the traffic go by. Then all of a sudden
a police car went speeding by and I turned around (twisted
around) to see where the police car was headed, ...
"POW" a big pop took place in
my lower back, in fact the waitress ask me what was
that noise and I laughed and told her that it was just
my back popping when I twisted around to watch the police
car speed by, .. I even made a comment to the waitress
that the back-pop felt good.
Well
folks, the pop in the lower back did in fact feel good,
.. but here's the rest of the story.
After I departed the Cafe I went down to the Grocery
store to pick up a few items before going home. I walked
out of the store not knowing what was about to take
place. I walked out of the store with two bags in my
arms weighing about 5lbs each. I put the bags down to
open my car. When I reached down to pick up one of the
bags to put in the car, ... OUCH - instant pain
shot up my back that would make anyone drop their grocery
bag, and that is what I did. From that point on things
started going downhill for me. I drove home with slight
pain in my back (not severe pain). I spent July 4th
around the house, fore my low back was hurting pretty
bad, and I thought resting would do the trick as far
as healing. The next day (July 5th) was my normal day
off from work, in which I was glad to get the extra
day to rest my back.
GOING RAPIDLY
TO A HEALTH DEGRADING STATE:
I went to work the
next day (Tues. - July 6th) hurting with low back pain,
but it wasn't so bad that I couldn't do my job duties.
By Thursday afternoon, .. I had coworkers helping me
get out of my work chair. Friday was even a worse day
for me. Saturday is a regular work day for me, but Friday
evening my superior advised me to stay home Saturday
and try to get-well before returning to start my work
week which starts every Tuesday.
On Tuesday
(July 13th) it was time to return to work, but I was
in such severe low back pain I could barely get to the
restroom, let alone go to work.
I had a decision
to make, ... wait-it-out to see if I get better, or
get some type of medical help. "Folks, the pain
was so bad I had to seek some sort of help!" While
working the previous week I remembered what my Coworkers
said to me, - they advised me to seek a Chiropractor
for help. Coworkers stated to me that Chiropractors
are really good when it comes to relieving back pain.
So I got on the Internet to randomly find a Chiropractor.
Just by chance I found Dr. Bogan (Alliance Chiropractic
Center). I called to make an appointment, and the caring
Office Manager (Donna Adam) said to not wait another
minute and to get into the Center immediately to let
the doctor examine what was going-on with my back.
Doctor Bogan
immediately started three treatments on me a day. "You
could really sense the concern Dr. Bogan had for me."
It was like he was hurting right along with me, - not
only working with my body, but he was giving me the
much needed positive spiritual uplift. Hey after-all,
... I'm a macho guy, .. nothing can happen to me ! -
"BOY WAS I EVER WRONG !" --
When my MRI came back, and other doctors stated back
surgery was imminent, .. Dr. Bogan stood up for me and
stated, "Lets don't rush to judgment here !"
Dr. Bogan pleaded with me to accept the pain for what
it is and keep up the Chiropractic Treatments."
Dr. Bogan stated to me that so many people make the
mistake by rushing to surgery in order to get immediate
pain relief, .. when in many cases surgery could have
been avoided.
It is now
October 2004, and from the first time I entered Alliance
Chiropractic Center crying like a baby due to pain,
having been put on crutches and other Medical Doctors
saying that I'd absolutely have to have back surgery,
... "I'm proud to say that Dr. Bogan brought
me through this dilemma without surgery".
I'm now fully
recovered by my own personal standards but, I still
have very, very slight pain, .. but that is only when
I over-do-it. From
a Severe L-4 Herniated Disc to having a quality of life
now at 98%, that is pretty darn good, in fact downright
excellent as far as I'm concerned.
Thanks to
"Office Mgr. & Secretary Donna Adam" for
the good advise in getting into Alliance Chiropractic
Center as quickly as possible.
A special
thanks to Dr. Bogan and Sherri Schulze for the care
they gave me.
I give the
utimate thanks to our Supreme Healer, .. The Lord
Jesus Christ.
Sincerely,
